Scottish Traveller Education Programme

Resources: LibraryDr. Betty Jordan collected a valuable set of historic books and items relating to Scotland’s Traveller communities, which have been given to The University of Edinburgh. STEP worked with its archivists to ensure the availability of these materials for consultation by scholars and interested individuals. Called the STEP Collection, it is housed in the correct conditions and temperatures in the Special Collections Department at the University of Edinburgh’s Main Library in George Square. In addition is holds the Rehfisch papers and some photographic materials.
